A new report from In Touch claims that “Jersey Shore” is ending its run with its original cast members after season 6. Apparently, the cast was told the show was ending when they arrived in Seaside Heights to begin filming on May 31.

The news isn’t totally shocking considering the show has been in transition this season. Two of the show’s biggest stars are dealing with major life changes. Snooki is pregnant and engaged to baby daddy Jionni Lavalle. Our favorite fried-pickle-eater has reported moved out of the Jersey house but will still be a part of the show. The Situation is fresh out of rehab, living soberly with his castmates.
Snooki is set to have her own Spin-off show with JWoww. JWoww told PopStop TV News exclusively, “you’ll definitely be able to see the pregnancy unveil” and “the ups-and-downs about our relationship.” “To us, it was the most important thing to do it and obviously because she was pregnant, it was now or never. You’ll kinda see the pressures of doing it right then and there.”
Only time will tell how well “Snooki and JWoww” does when it premieres June 21! DJ Pauly D’s show, “The Pauly D Project” has failed to attract raitings. “Jersey Shore” has also been in decline since peaking during the Season 4 premiere in Italy.
