Christina Milian is one of the busiest moms in Hollywood!
She’s got her hands full with her daughter Violet, her new album release, and she’s also the official social media correspondent for NBC’s hit show, The Voice.
Our PopStop TV news team had a chance to catch up with Christina Milian on the red carpet right after The Voice top 10 performance, and wow, she looked amazing in her yellow, Celeb Boutique dress and her new fuchsia hair. “The hair, I actually over the weekend just dyed my hair completely fuchsia, but it’s like a nice mix of both natural colors because I didn’t want to scare anybody.”
We asked Christina what her experiences were like so far with The Voice finalists. She responded, “It makes you love them because everybody has a story. We all have a dream and to see them achieve it, at every moment, I feel like a part of their family.” She stated that this was the most rewarding part, since she considers herself “a family girl.”
Regarding the return of Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green for the fall season, Christina states that she “can’t wait to see them.” She continues, “I know they’ll be fantastic. Like I said, it’s family, so it’s like, welcome back home!”
All the fans have been waiting for her new album release. This will be her fourth studio album. Christina reassures us that it’s going to be really good! “I have some great features. I’m working with Lil Wayne, people from Young Money, and it’s a great mix.” Christina’s new album will also feature a lot of music crossovers. She said, “Got a little bit of reggae stuff, got some pop, crossover, and a little bit of base in there.”
So will we ever see a collaboration between her and Drake? After all, they’ll all part of the Young Money family. “That would be super sick. I’m waiting for that one. I actually gotta hit up Drake and be like, ‘You write the song,’ because he’s so good at that. I’m leaving it up to you, Drake, so let’s make that happen.”
Well, we are surely super excited to see her make an appearance again with her new album!
And, of course, if anything – we always have baby Christina Milian – Violet – who may one day be following the footsteps of her mother. “There might possibility be a future. I’m not forcing it at all, but she’s watching her own mother do it, and her father comes from it as well. I’m sure it’s a natural thing because I didn’t even know she knew anything about a red carpet and she just got over here and was like pose and pose! We’ll see.” She joked, “Education first!”
