On Monday, Mrs. O stepped out in a Thom Browne silk tie inspired jacket. This high end, relatively unknown designer was a perfect choice for the outdoor festivities.
Browne is best known for his very modern take on men’s fashion. Mrs. Obama’s wardrobe choices have been known to set off the careers of the designers that dress her, so this could be a major boost for the Thom Browne brand. His name is already buzzing all over the web!

The subdued navy color scheme is very different from the last Presidential Inauguration. Anyone remember that green jacket and dress combo from 2009? We give her an A+ in fabulousness!
No sources have revealed the designer Mrs. Obama will wear to the official Inaugural Ball, but we hope she highlights those famous fit arms!
