Those betting that Kelly Clarkson would fumble words in the National Anthem prior to the Super Bowl last night were proven wrong.
Unlike performers in previous years (cough, Christina, cough), Kelly rocked it and had zero mistakes.
The original “American Idol” winner took to the field to show that the National Anthem ain’t no big thing for a Texas-native to handle. Clarkson tackled the tough song and didn’t waste time doing it.
Kelly was backed up by kids from the Indianapolis Children##Q##s Choir and was looking mighty fine in a simple black dress and rough cut bangs.
