On May 3, 2012, Verizon Wireless will be hosting their 2nd annual Verizon Visionaries Conference, demonstrating their support and commitment to Asian Americans and inspiring youths at Webster Hall in New York City.
This year##Q##s conference is hosted by XiXi Yang and includes guest speakers Jamie Chung, Joe Zee, and Mark Munoz.
XiXi Yang was born and raised in China before moving to the United States at the age of 9. She studied Mass Media at New York University before starting her career in television hosting and producing. She##Q##s currently the executive producer and lead host at PopStop TV Network.
Jamie Chung is a second generation Korean-American actress who first stepped onto the entertainment scene on MTV’s reality series The Real World: San Diego. She has made appearances on multiple television shows and films and is in the upcoming movie 7500.
Joe Zee is a stylist who was born in Hong Kong and is now the creative director of Elle. He is very involved in mass media and is one of the most influential men on Twitter.
Mark Munoz is a Filipino Mixed Martial Artist currently fighting in the middleweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and is ranked by Sherdog as the #3 middleweight fighter worldwide.
Each of these prominent Asian American industry leaders will be sharing inspirational stories about their personal experiences of rising to success.
