Three is certainly better than one! Huge congratulations are in order for actress Anne Hathaway, “Kings of Leon” bassist Jared Followill, and Australian singer/actress Holly Valance. These three stars all tied the knot over the weekend, which begs us to ask – which couple had the fairest wedding of all?
Anne Hathaway swapped vows with longtime beau Adam Shulman Saturday at a private home in Big Sur, CA! The gorgeous “Dark Knight Rises” star wore a stunning Valentino gown and kept her androgynous pixie cut neat in a flowery hair band. The newlyweds celebrated with more than 150 family and friends at a secluded private estate.
The big wedding weekend started Friday with a rehearsal dinner at the Ventana Inn and Spa. The wedding was planned by Yifat Oren, and guests danced until 11pm to classic ‘80s and 90’s songs! Although it was a bit cold in Big Sur, we’re sure Anne and Ada snuggled next to a heater just fine.
Moving on to a place not too far away – Beverly Hills, CA! Australian singer/actress Holly Valance married her billionaire fiancé in a lavish ceremony. The former “Neighbours” star traded “I Do’s” in a breath-taking J’Aton Couture gown and topped it off with an exaggerated lace veil in a vintage style. 300 members of their friends and family – including Simon Cowell – watched and wept.
All the way down south in Charlotte, Tennesse, “Kings of Leon” bassist Jared Followill married his girlfriend Martha Patterson in a rustic ceremony. Followill, 25, and his 21-year-old bride have been engaged since this April and they began dating in January.
“Marrying my best friend today. I’m the luckiest girl in the world. 
” Martha tweeted. Jared teased right back, tweeting “Today, I get married. It’s the biggest step I’ve ever taken. I’ve dreamed about this day since I was a little girl.”
Martha wore a white Monique Lhuillier gown and Jared looked dashing in a black Gucci suit. Alas! The last of the Kings has finally found his queen.
