Tila Tequila has agreed to begin rehabilitation at a private center in Florida following her hospitalization for apparent suicide attempts to seek treatment for psychiatric issues and substance abuse, Tila’s manager has confirmed to TMZ.
Reality star/artist/model Tequila had a public breakdown after the death of her long-time friend and rumored girlfriend Casey Johnson over two years ago and has gone downhill since then.
E! News reports that the 30-year-old was hospitalized last week after suffering a near-fatal brain aneurism. Tequila’s roommate called 911 when she discovered the situation and claims that the accident was caused by a drug-related suicide attempt.
Tequila was released from the hospital on Monday and her rep said in a statement that she “continues to recover and is doing better.”
