Fans of the Rock at this moment in time are eagerly awaiting his return to the ring as he prepares to face off against John Cena at Wrestlemania on April 1st. No matter the outcome, Dwayne Johnson will not have to wait too long after for Hollywood to come calling once again.
Sources report that MGM has signed a deal with Johnson for him to star as Hercules in an upcoming Brett Ratner film. Production is set to begin in October in New Zealand.
Johnson seems to be very pleased with the role as he tweeted:
“Hyped to become HERCULES and bring the mythology to life.”
As a fan of the Rock and mythological based action flicks, I for one am looking forward to seeing “Rockules”. Break a leg, Dwayne!
