Taylor Swift has a song about crashing parties, but now she is crashing them in real life! She allegedly crashed a Kennedy wedding in Boston with her new boy Conor Kennedy over the weekend. The mother of the bride asked Taylor to leave the wedding but she refused!
On Saturday, Swift and Kennedy attended the wedding at Fairmont Copley Plaza where Kyle Kennedy married Liam Kerr. Victoria Kennedy, mother of the bride, told the Boston Herald, “They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come. I responded with a very clear, ‘Please do not come.’ They came anyway…I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave. It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me.”
A spokeswoman for Taylor Swift said, “There is not truth to that. Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there.” However, it is understandable that Victoria did not want Swift to steal the spotlight from her daughter on her big day.
Taylor’s appearance drew fans asking for photos and autographs, causing a mild commotion. The singer and Conor left during dinner, but returned later and spent the night dancing.
Taylor Swift and her new beau have been dating for most of this summer.
