Sylvester Stallone has opened up about his son’s tragic death. Earlier in July, his son Sage Stallone was found dead in his Los Angeles home. There were no signs of forced entry or foul play, so the cause of death is still under wraps.
In an interview with Good Morning America, Sylvester talked about Sage’s death for the first time. “It’s tough. It’s very, very tough, but if you have good friends and family support…it’s a horrible situation but time will hopefully heal and you try to get through it, but it’s just something. It’s a reality of life. I think it’s important to get back and start reliving your life. Otherwise, you can go into a spiral.”
Sage was Sylvester’s oldest son, in the actor’s marriage to his first wife Sasha Czack. Sage made his acting debut in Rocky V, playing the role of Rocky Balboa’s son. The Stallone men had a good relationship with each other.
It is sad what Sylvester is going through, but as he said himself, life goes on. Sylvester Stallone is now promoting Expendables 2, which hits theaters Friday.
