Don’t expect America’s talented to be judged by Sharon Osbourne anymore! She has quit the show over NBC’s discrimination of her son, Jack Osbourne. Producers of “Stars Earn Stripes,” a reality military-style competition series, decided not to include Jack in the show after he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Sharon claims they fired Jack two days before he was set to film and then lied about it to the press.
She told NYPost, “I just can’t be fake. It’s discrimination, and it was badly handled.” She had heated arguments with the network and when the issue could not be resolved, she decided to quit “America’s Got Talent.” Even Simon Cowell, producer of AGT got involved to make peace.
“Stars and Stripes” producer David Hurwitz fired back saying Jack was never hired on the show, but was just in the talks with. They found that the rigors of the show were too intense for Jack. It also turns out Jack never signed the show’s contract. The show offered to pay him the full fee he would have earned, but he doesn’t want the money.
