“Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland and her boyfriend Matt Prokop recently vacationed in Las Vegas. However, their stay turned sour when Prokop was robbed.
According to the pair’s tweets, the robbery occurred at The Mirage where they were staying. On July 14, Matt tweeted, “Gotta love getting robbed in Vegas…#fml.” He tweeted again, saying that someone had stolen $1,200 from his wallet while he and Sarah Hyland were lounging in the hotel pool.
The couple blasted The Mirage on Twitter because apparently nothing was being done about the robbery for days. Their main complain was about the poor security.
Sarah Hyland: “You’d think a ‘four diamond award winning resort’ such as @TheMirageLV has security cameras to catch thieves. Won’t ever be staying there.”
Matt Prokop: “Wow the #mirage in Vegas sucks security team couldn’t do anything lesson learned NEVER going back!”
They sent an email to The Mirage, and someone finally replied back to them. “@Sarah_Hyland @mattpro13 Hi Matt & Sarah. We’ve responded to your email. Review at your convenience & let us know how best to contact you.”
It’s cute that Sarah Hyland was supporting her boyfriend! In May, Hyland revealed to Seventeen that she had received a kidney transplant from her father after battling kidney dysplasia. She made sure to thank Matt for his support and help in her recovery from the surgery. “Any other 21 year old guy would not be there. I guarantee it.” What a cute couple!
