American Idol host Ryan Seacrest wasn’t feeling too hot when he stepped on the stage to lead the show last night, but his illness didn’t take a toll on his abilities!
Idol producers were working on a backup plan on Wednesday when Ryan Seacrest was suddenly hit with some sort of bug. TMZ reported that he was hooked up to an IV during the day and had to miss rehearsal, but judging by the show last night, we would’ve never known!
After Colton Dixon was eliminated too soon last week, there were only six contestants that had to each sing two songs. The final six poked fun at each other for their little quirks, but the best part of the night was when Ryan brought full attention to his adorable dancer girlfriend Julianne Hough.
After Phillip Phillips’ second song, Ryan Seacrest said, “You ran by my girlfriend who##Q##s here.” The camera shot to Julianne, who was backstage and tried to hide. He continue, “And she sighed and blushed, and I think I heard her say ##Q##Yummy.##Q## We##Q##ll be having this conversation after the show, darling.”
Julianne Hough’s attempts to hide clearly failed because just minutes later she was trending worldwide!
