Oprah reveals before visiting Rihanna, she had some preconceptions about the singer. She thought Rihanna was going to be a bad-ass, “kind of a hard-edged rocker pop woman. Hm.” However, Oprah was surprised by her visit. “Nothing could have been farther from the truth.”
In her interview, Rihanna opens up to Oprah about her fame, Chris Brown, and more. You’ll see Rihanna get emotional as she talks about her life. In a little teaser of the interview, Oprah says it was nice to see Rihanna in her element, in her natural surroundings of Barbados. No one treated her like a celebrity, and she was 100% herself. Rihanna was happy to be home, and Oprah got a great sense of who she was.
