The American Idol changes just keep coming! Randy Jackson is officially LEAVING the judge’s table, BUT will still remain a part of the hit show as a “mentor.” Sources close to the show say that there is much concern that Randy is not well-suited for the mentor role, but people at Idol feel that they need him because he is the one that keeps the show together.
Jackson’s replacement is unknown at this time, but many sources say Nicki Minaj’s deal is 99 percent done, but still not 100 percent sure just yet. As for how Mariah feels about all of this, it is being said that she is not a fan of Nicki, and does NOT want her at the table. Apparently the producers are loving this, because they feel the conflict and tension will be good for the show. Regardless, it is looking to be one interesting season!
