If you want to see Nicki Minaj’s new music video for “Stupid Hoe,” I wouldn’t sit in front of the TV and wait for it. YouTube is probably more promising in this case.
Nicki is known for using outrageous tactics to keep the attention on her, but BET thinks she went too far this time because they are refusing to air her music video.
According to TMZ, a source from the company said the ban was put in place because the video was simply too explicit for TV.
The song has suggestive lyrics, repeating “you a stupid hoe” throughout it a few handfuls of times, and Nicki’s best asset makes an appearance, if you know what I mean.
Apparently it’s not only the people of BET who aren’t fans of the music video. It already has over 300,000 dislikes on YouTube, which is more than twice as many likes it has.
Better luck next time, girl!
Do you think the “Stupid Hoe” music video is too much for TV?
