Nick Lachey and his wife Vanessa (Manillo) Lachey are expecting their first child. Nick first dropped the exciting news this morning when he was co-hosting Live! With Kelly.
Just as ex-wife Jessica Simpson is about to pop out her first little one, Lachey announced that he is a future daddy and was all smiles about it!
“I’ve had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life, but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to. The fact that it’s actually here, it’s overwhelming,” Lachey said as he was co-hosting Live!
Lachey and Manillo were married in July 2011 and have not yet learned the sex of the baby, but the formed 98 Degrees singer does have some names in mine. If it’s a girl, he likes the name Sophia, and for a boy he likes Colin.
Baby Lachey is due at the end of the summer or early fall. Congratulations to the happy family!
