“That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon. He was a quiet hero, as he didn’t like the publicity and refused to sign autographs or give interviews. However, the world will always remember his achievement. President Obama hailed Armstrong as “a hero not just of his time, but of all time” and thanked him for “showing us the power of one small step.” At the age of 82, the legendary astronaut has sadly passed away Saturday. Celebrities remember the icon via Twitter.
Josh Groban: “Happy trails to the next great unknown…RIP Neil Armstrong.”
