Michael J. Fox will be gracing our television screens with his presence again! The last time he was on TV was in 2000 in Spin City. Now, he is returning to TV in a sitcom for NBC.
NBC has already ordered 22 episodes and is set to premiere in Fall 2013. The show is inspired by people and elements in Michael’s life. He will star as a husband and father of three from New York City dealing with family career and challenges, including Parkinson’s disease.
NBC President Robert Greenblatt said, “To bring Michael J. Fox back to NBC is a supreme honor and we are thrilled that one of the great comedic television stars is coming home again.” Michael returned the sentiments, “I’m extremely pleased to be back at NBC with a great creative team and a great show. Bob Greenblatt and all the folks at the network have given me a warm welcome home, and I’m excited to get to work.”
