In news that’s literally comedy gold, Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock are both signed on to star in an untitled comedy directed by Paul Feig!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the plot of the Fox project revolves around Sandra, who’ll play an FBI agent. The 47-year-old’s character is forced to work with Melissa McCarthy, a totally unconventional Boston cop. The project will focus on the strained working relationship between an “uptight” FBI agent and an eccentric cop.
Most recently, Paul Feig directed the hilarious “Bridesmaids”, which earned Melissa her best-supporting actress nominee for her comedic role. This will be Paul’s first reunion with her in a project. “Parks and Recreation” writer Katie Dippold is signed on as the writer.

A summer shoot is in the works so Melissa can squeeze in this project while filming CBS’ “Mike and Molly”.
We all know Paul and Melissa make magic together and by tossing Sandra in the mix, this project could just live up to all of our expectations.
