Mary Kate Olsen has sparked rumors that she is now dating former French President Nicholas Sarkozy’s 42-year-old younger brother Olivier Sarkozy.
New York Post’s gossip column Page Six claims that Mary Kate Olsen and Sarkozy are “head over heels” for one another and have been seeing each other for the past month, but have kept their relationship low key.
Sarkozy, who is managing director of the Carlyle Group, recently split from actress Stella Schnabel in March.
While he’s been previously married with two children, Mary Kate is only 25 and hasn’t been romantically linked with anyone since her relationship with artist Nate Lowman ended in 2010.
The 17-year age difference obviously isn’t bothering the couple. They hit up a Knicks game together on April 25 and were spotted hanging out in the Hamptons over Memorial Day weekend.
Being the experienced businesswoman that she is, sources say Mary Kate is into older men because guys her age are simply just too immature.
