By now, we’re not sure who’s who. Has Amanda Bynes been impersonating Lindsay Lohan with her recent DUI arrest or is Lindsay pulling an Amanda with her car accident yesterday?
Lindsay Lohan was driving on the Pacific Coast Highway yesterday when she collided with a semi-truck and although the actress is fine after a quick hospital visit, TMZ is leaking out more details from the scene.
According to the truck driver James, Lindsay was trailed by a Cadillac Escalade driven by someone connected with her “Liz and Dick” Lifetime movie. Right after the accident occurred, James called 911 as Lindsay and her male assistant got out of the Porsche and into the Escalade. The assistant apparently also picked up a pink bag, “filled it up with something” and then put clothes on top of it.
Now this is where the story gets interesting. When James approached the SUV to exchange info with Lindsay (whom he didn’t recognize at the time), he was stopped by the Escalade driver. The driver offered him money and said they “could go to the bank” to withdraw cash.
“Him and the guy took me across the street and told me this was some kind of famous person and they didn’t want to be in the media. But I’d already called 911 because they were trying to get away from the scene,” James said. “But they packed a bag and then the limousine driver told me, ‘Don’t mention the bag to the cops.’”
According to Lindsay’s rep Steve Honig, Lindsay is “cooperating fully with law enforcements” and “has answered all their questions and provided them with everything they asked for.”
