Hearing the word no is definitely out of the norm for Oprah, and that is exactly what Lauryn Hill said! Hill could have had a chance to tell her side of the story regarding her tax troubles, when Oprah reached out to her for an interview! Yet she said NO! This news was released when a fan on Twitter reached out to Oprah and said “Get Lauryn Hill on your show asap!” Oprah replied soon after with “Tried, she said no.” Ouch! Wonder why that could be?
Hill is facing three years of jail after failing to pay her taxes on the money she earned between the years of 2005 to 2007. You’d think she would want to tell her side of the story?
