After ending their 14-month marriage, Katy Perry and Russell Brand have been going through all the annoying post-divorce steps, and the final settlements have officially been made.
With no pre-nuptial agreement, Russell Brand had every legal right to run away with half of Katy Perry’s $40 million income from during their marriage, according to TMZ, but he chose to walk away with only his earnings.
According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, a response from Perry to Brand’s divorce filing said they “have entered into a comprehensive written settlement of all issues, including, without limitation, with respect to the property to be confirmed or assigned to each party.”
Another interesting bit of information came with the documents that were filed on Tuesday. Katy’s name will change back to Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, as it was before her marriage.
With work still going strong on both ends, it appears as if the broken couple is getting back to their old happy lives apart.
