The divorce of Hollywood stars Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise has been closely followed and become a major headline everywhere. To add on to the drama, it seems that Katie foreshadowed the divorce to Elle six weeks ago.
Holmes gave insight on her marriage with Cruise and spoke her true feelings. She said, “He has been Tom Cruise for 30 years. I know who I am and where I am and where I want to go, so I want to focus on that.” It seems that Katie’s feelings about Tom has changed throughout the years. Having a crush on Tom Cruise as a twenty-something year old is very different than actually being married to him as a woman in her 30s.
Katie admitted, “I feel sexier. I think in my 20s, it’s like you’re trying too hard to figure everything out. I’m starting to come into my own. It’s like a new phase. I definitely feel much more comfortable in my own skin.” The magic of Tom Cruise has worn off, and reality has set in.
