The two power couple is a match made in sneaker heads heaven. On June 12, Kim tweeted a photo of her and her man wearing the coveted “His & Hers” Nike Air Yeezy II sneakers. Kim wrote, “His & Hers! #AirYeezys”
“His & Hers” quickly became a twitter trending topic. Although we’re amazed at KimYe’s influence on social media, we’re even more shocked to find out that the uber popular shoes was released on June 9 at select retailers for $245 and were sold out in minutes. One crazy rich person even bought a pair on eBay for $90,000!
This is not the first time these two lovebirds made headlines with their social media activities today. Earlier, a photo of a naked woman with her back to the camera, getting her snack on in a hotel room, was linked to Kanye’s twitter. The internet started buzzing with rumors that the 35-year-old rapper tweeted a nude photo of Kim Kardashian, but that certainly wasn’t the case.
TMZ found out that photo was porn star Amia Miley, and Kanye’s rep shut down rumors of the photo. “In regards to this ‘story’ that Kanye posted and then took down intimate pictures on his Twitter account: Totally false. Laughably so. This phantom tweet never occurred on his account.This is obviously the desperate, sad act of someone seeking to gain media exposure by exploiting Kanye’s notoriety.”
