There’s a few signs floating around the universe, pointing to the fact the world may very well end in 2012. Alright, fine, so you’re not big on trusting Mayan’s predictions. But how on earth do you explain Justin Bieber’s new collaboration with Lil Wayne?
The Young Money Cash Money Billionaire rapper has been pretty vocal in the past, protesting about The Biebs. Now, it looks like the 18-year-old “boyfriend” singer has passed on the contagious Biever Fever to Lil Wayne. In a recent interview with Fuse, Justin revealed that he and Lil Wayne recoded a song together.
“I did a song with Lil Wayne, it’s called ‘Backpack,’” JB dished, “and you guys need to listen to it. It’s probably going to becoming out on the repackage and it’s dope.”
In addition to Lil Wayne, Justin also teamed up with Nicki Minaj on “Beauty and he Beat”. On his collaboration with Wayne’s protégé, Justin explained: “I chose to work with Nicki because I wanted a female rapper and she’s the best choice and I felt she just fit the song perfectly. Hopefully we get to shoot the video for it, fingers crossed.”
The Biebs seems to be dabbling more and more into hip-hop and R&B than pop. Last week, he stopped by Angie Martinez’ radio show and rapped Tupac and Biggie.
