How can this kid have haters? Justin Bieber is known for his charitable doings, and he can now add “life saver” to his résumé.
After Helene Campbell, owner of the Twitter account @alungstory, tweeted the Biebs saying, “Hey @justinbieber! I BELIEB you should use that Canadian voice of yours and help save lives like mine #beanorgandonor beadonor.ca #giveblood,” she received an overwhelming response.
The young prince of pop not only tweeted back, “i got the word….you have amazing strength. i got u. #BeAnOrganDonor,” but he quickly added, “help spread the word for @alungstory http://www.alungstory.ca/ #BeAnOrganDonor…and @alungstory NEVER SAY NEVER”.
At that moment, Bieber had officially sparked the minds of many in his homeland of Ontario, Canada, and the amount of organ donors shot up tremendously.
According to MTV, the Ontario-based Trillium Gift of Life Network saw greater than four times the amount of donations than they regularly receive.
It’s great to see the icon use his fame to help those in need!
