When Josh Radnor wasn’t playing Ted Mosby on “How I Met Your Mother,” he was busy directing, writing, producing and acting in his latest film, “Liberal Arts.” The movie stars Radnor, Elizabeth Olsen, Zac Efron, Allison Janney and Richard Jenkins. “Liberal Arts” is about a 35-year-old man (Radnor) who falls for a much younger 19-year-old college student (Olsen).
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Radnor said, “Well I had the good fortune of sharing an agent with both Richard Jenkins and Lizzy Olsen and that worked out nicely. I wrote that part for Richard, I didn’t know I was writing this for Lizzy but I was.” The film premiered at Sundance 2012.
This is the second film he has directed and written. The first one was “Happythankyoumoreplease,” out in 2010. We’re excited to see Josh Radnor in his new film!
