Going green has its rewards! Jessica Alba will be honored at the upcoming Environmental Media Awards and presented with the EMA Green Parent Award. Alba has been active in going green – she is a supporter of the Safe Chemicals Act and her The Honest Company spreads the word on choosing affordable, eco-friendly products for the home.
Her first book, The Honest Life, a guide on non-toxic living, will be published in March. EMA president Debbie Levin says, “Becoming a parent is life-changing and brings into focus the priority of healthy choices and the responsibility of the environmental sustainability of our planet. Jessica is a great example of how you can turn that passion into positive charge.”
