The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom Jacqueline Laurita recently told People that her 3-year-old son Nicholas has autism. She tried for years to have another baby, and she finally had Nicholas three years ago and was very happy. However, around 18 months old, her son began regressing with his speech and motor skills.
Jacqueline said, “We had no idea what was going on.” She took him to numerous doctors before receiving the result that Nicholas is autistic. She continued, “I worry about him being independent when he’s older. I spend all my time researching what we can do for him.”
Thankfully for the Lauritas, they were able to hide Nicholas’ medical issues from the cameras while taping for season 4 of RHONJ. Jacqueline is also mom to Ashlee, 21 and C.J., 10. You can see more of Jacqueline Laurita on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
