Hilary Duff just gave birth two days ago and she broke the news herself through Twitter!
The proud first-time mama and her husband Mike Comrie welcomed her son into the world on Tuesday, March 20. Hilary tweeted earlier Thursday, “Welcome to the World Luca Cruz Comrie! Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pounds 6 ounce beautiful boy.”
Helping other celebs snap out of the weird baby names trend, Hilary and her hubby decided on a rather normal (thank goodness!) name for their bundle of joy – Luca Cruz Comrie. Apparently, Luca means “man from Lucania” in Italian. How cute!
The 24-year-old actress also continued on twitter, “We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world. He is surrounded by so much love!! Mom and baby are both doing extremely well.”
Hilary announced her pregnancy back in August and celebrated her journey with countless adorable belly shots on twitter!
