It’s that time again! The 64th Primetime Emmy Award Nominations were announced this morning and there were some big surprises! While there has been a lot of controversy surrounding the hit show “Girls” such as too much sexual promiscuity, and not enough diversity, Lena Dunham proved she is television’s overachiever!
She scored several nominations for series, writing, AND both directing and acting! I think that “Girls” is one of the few honest, raw and very real shows on tv right now! For those of you not familiar with the show, it started airing on HBO in April and is a dramedy that follows a group of girls in their 20s living in New York City. Congrats to Lena for the nominations!
