Despite Rosie O’Donnell’s disapproval of Lindsay Lohan playing the part of Elizabeth Taylor in her biopic, production is nearing and Grant Bowler is the lucky man that has been chosen to play her opposite as Dick.
True Blood’s Grant Bowler will be playing LiLo’s fifth husband and love interest Richard Burton in the Lifetime movie Liz & Dick.
The most noticeable difference the two pairs have in common is an age gap. Grant Bowler is 18 years Lindsay’s elder, but the director is taking full advantage of their undeniable chemistry.
Producer Larry Thompson told E! News on Thursday, “This morning we had Lindsay and Grant come into a room at Lifetime and the chemistry exploded…It was just Fourth of July firecrackers going off in the room.”
And that means exactly what you think! (And were hoping for…)
“Chemistry means movie magic for sex,” Thompson continued. “This movie will definitely have as much sex as Lifetime will allow.”
Filming for Liz & Dick begins on June 4th.
