Here’s some Season 4 spoilers for all you Gleeks! The cast and crew spilled details about what’s to come for Glee at Comic-Con San Diego.
In attendance were Glee executive producers Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto. Cast members Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Naya Rivera, Darren Criss, Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowitz were also present.
Season 4 is about exploring the adult life after high school graduation, how life changes, and relationships are tested. Falchuk wants the Glee characters to have new firsts: first post high school love, first big break up, and more.
Chris Colfer’s role, Kurt, will remain at McKinley high. Kurt will help Will Schuster attract new members to New Directions. Stepbrother Finn (Cory Monteith) is expected to be Army-bound. Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) will have a hard time at NYADA. Naya Rivera’s Santana is at the University of Louisville…and she remains a cheerleader.
Amber Riley and Harry Shum Jr.’s Mercedes and Mike will land in LA and Chicago. Dianna Agron’s Quinn is set for Yale. Mark Salling’s Puck is mostly likely to set foot in LA as well. Damian McGinty will not return…for right now. Falchuk teases fans by saying who knows what will happen during the second half of the season of Glee! Samuel Larsen, Alex Newell and Chord Overstreet are expected back for Season 4. Sue Sylvester will have her baby, but the father is still a mystery.
The fourth season of Glee will begin in September. New faces will join the characters such as Puck’s younger brother, Rachel’s roommate and new friends, and perhaps Artie’s parents!
Glee is set to premiere Thursday, September 13 at 9PM on Fox! Who’s excited?
