The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards took place Sunday, January 15, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, CA!
Ricky Gervais played host and entertained the glamorous stars! Although the British funnyman took jabs at Kim Kardashian, Jodie Foster, Justin Bieber, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and pretty much all the young Hollywood stars, the star-studded crowd seems to have prepared themselves for his jokes this time around!
Some of the most buzzworthy moments of the night include: Sofia Vergara translating “Modern Family” co-creator Steve Levitan’s thank-you speech in Spanish after the series won Best TV Comedy, Sidney Poitier and Helen Mirren presenting the Cecil B. DeMille Award to Morgan Freeman, “The Help’s” newcomer Octavia Spencer winning Best Supporting Actress, and Seth Rogen making everyone in the room want to do the “awkward turtle” by declaring, “Hi, I’m Seth Rogen and I’m trying to hide a massive erection”, while standing next to presenter Kate Beckinsale.
