Weird Al Yankovic has a lot on his plate these days. From writing books to making more music and touring, he is taking it all on!
If he can make adults laugh, children can’t be much harder to crack. Weird Al spilled to PopStop TV News that he just finished his first children’s book last night and expects it to be out by late 2013!
The Grammy nominee is also starting to work out his next album and plans to begin recording in May. However, he bit his tongue about what we should expect this time around.
“Even if I knew I couldn’t tell you,” said Weird Al. “I try to keep it under wraps, but I’m doing originals now so the parodies won’t even be conceptualized until way down the road.”
Since Justin Bieber is a fan of his and Weird Al has already done a parody with the Biebs’ work, we had to ask what his thoughts are on collaborating with the 18-year-old superstar. He definitely wasn’t opposed to the idea!
“Yeah, why not? He’s great.”
I would absolutely love to see what those two could come up with!
