Emeli Sandé is a name that many have yet to hear, but it##Q##s time to open your ears because she’s breaking through the international music scene with a vengeance.
Emeli Sandé has been compared to Adele, and that alone should tell you something about her astonishing talents.
The Scottish singer/songwriter is already on a roll in her music career, having won the BRIT Critics Choice Award before her debut album was even released, but that’s not her only accomplishment to date. Emeli Sandé is a former medical school student, who wanted to get her degree before plunging head first into the music industry.
Emeli put her heart and soul into writing her debut solo album “Our Version of Events,” which dropped Tuesday, June 5.
She told PopStop TV News exclusively, “Every song needs to be something I##Q##m entirely proud of. It has to be, track for track, a classic album, whether people like it or not.”
Emeli is definitely one of this year’s biggest breakthrough artists. She has received compliments from the likes of Alicia Keys, Adele, Perez Hilton, and even Simon Cowell.
