After a massive bar brawl that left several casualties injured, Drake is finally speaking out about the incident. The rapper went on stage at Jones Beach in Long Island, N.Y. on Saturday, where he addressed the rowdy crowd about the Thursday night’s incident at W.i.P. nightclub.
Drake hit the stage and said (quoted by New York Daily News), “When I woke up this morning, I had to think about a lot of things. But the only thing I gave a f— about was that I was in New York City tonight.”
After a few songs, Drake continued, “It’s last call and you’re really to drunk to give a f—.”
Towards the end of the show, the 25-year-old singer added, “A n—er in the corner is standing there looking at you funny. You bump elbows with him on the way to the bathroom, but really there’s only one n—er that you got to think about.”

Besides those choosy words at his concert, Drake has yet to talk to the police. The rapper’s rep issued a statement last week, denying Drake’s involvement in the fight: “Drake did not participate in any wrongdoings of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began. He did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”
W.i.P nightclub has been shut down “indefinitely” due to security and other violations.
