According to his Tumblr page, EDM star Deadmau5 is “going to unplug for a wee bit.” He will not cancel upcoming shows, but he needs some downtime to himself. He wrote that he has a lot of work to do and wants to do them right until “I’m 100% satisfied with it.” Deadmau5 has had previous battles with severe depression and anxiety and said he was pretty miserable right now.
Earlier last month, Deadmau5 called our Playboy model Tricia Evans when she tweeted about the Aurora shooting. She wrote, “I heard the new Batman movie is really ‘to die for’! Too soon?” Deadmau5 replied, “good to know. @HollywoodTricia I seriously had no idea how big of a piece of sh-t you are. Unfollowed.”
Before taking his break, Deadmau5 will perform in Spain and be back in the U.S. in September with shows in Las Vegas.
Good for him for realizing that he needs to take a break! Hopefully Deadmau5 gets the clarity and rest that he needs!
