Drake and Chris Brown’s bar fight sent the internet buzzing this week… and as the story develops, more crazy details are coming forth!
NYPD has confirmed that rapper Drake and R&B superstar Chris Brown got into a fight at the W.I.P night club in NYC on Wednesday, June 13! Witnesses who were at the club said bottles were thrown and there were broken glass everywhere!
TMZ released a photo of Hollie C, a 24-year-old Australian tourist who had her face cut open by a flying glass bottle during the brawl!
Initial reports hinted that the fight started when Chris Brown sent a bottle over to Drake. The Toronto rapper apparently didn’t take the gift well and returned the champagne with a note referring to Rihanna. Chris then flew into a rage and confronted Drake. A fight broke out and Chris tweeted a photo of a cut on his chin.
While Chris Brown’s lawyers are speaking to police to present evidence to show Drake and Meek Mill were the aggressors, Drake has denied any “wrongdoing”.
Drake’s publicist said, “Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind lastnight at WIP. He was on his way out the club when the altercation began. He did not engagein any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”
Chris Brown’s publicist shot back, saying, “Chris, Karreuche Tran, and his friends were victims of a brutal attack last night at WIIP. They sustained several injuries. Chris and his party are cooperating with NY authorities who are pursuing this incident further.”
According to multiple eyewitnesses, Drake gave Chris the finger and shouted, “I’m about to Whoop that ass!” before the fight broke out. Another say it was entourage versus entourage, never Drake versus Chris.
E! News reports that the first person tocome out was Chris Brown. He rushed out of the club and his security guard was bloody… Then Meek Mill came out laughing, and Drake came out looking heated.
Rihanna is reportedly “distraught over the two guys fighting over her”, but she’s been staying mum on twitter. What do you guys think happened? Tweet us @PopStopTVDotCom
