President Obama dropped a huge bombshell in an interview with ABC News’ Robin Roberts on Wednesday. He became the first U.S. president to publicity endorse gay marriage.
Obama finally revealed where he stands on the issue of gay marriage, saying, “I think same sex couples should be able to get married.” Although he said he supported civil unions in his presidential campaign in 2008, Obama declined to back same-sex marriage.
