Rosie O’Donnell thinks Lindsay Lohan “needs a lot of help” and is the wrong person to portray a young Elizabeth Taylor in the upcoming movie on Lifetime based on her life.
Let’s be real for a minute. Rosie really has no room talking down Lindsay Lohan, but that didn’t stop her from dogging her on NBC’s Today on Tuesday morning.
When Matt Lauer asked the panel if it was a “good idea” for Lindsay to be casts as the role of Liz, Rosie immediately and strongly rejected the idea, arguing that her personal life has negatively taken over her image.
“No. Because she##Q##s had a lot of trouble doing every single movie, including SNL. She was out and not at rehearsal and I think she##Q##s not in a place to work.”
Donny Deutch disagreed with the ex-host by saying, “It’s a great idea. She’s our generation’s Elizabeth Taylor.” That response caused Rosie to call him a “crackhead.”
She adamantly continued justifying her opinion, “I don##Q##t think she##Q##s right for the role, and I don##Q##t think she##Q##s capable at this point of doing what##Q##s needed to portray that character.”
LiLo wasn’t just going to sit there and take the bashing. Her rep tells E! News, “I think Rosie should focus on her own career and stop worrying about everyone else##Q##s.” Burn!
I’m glad Rosie’s opinions are generally irrelevant to the public.
But the question is, do you agree with Rosie O’Donnell or Donny Deutch? Leave a comment and let us know or Tweet us @PopStopTVdotCom!
