Ernie##Q##s son Chris confirmed exclusive with PopStop TV News Sunday afternoon that the beloved actor is currently in “critical condition” at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles, CA. “Ernie is surrounded by his loved ones and he will be at peace,” Chris concluded.
The 95-year-old Oscar winning actor is one of the most beloved and respected actors that Hollywood has ever known. He has epitomizied talent and class through such pictures as “Marty”, “The Dirty Dozen”, The Posieden Adventure” , “From Here to Eternity” “The Wild Bunch”, “Willard” and the ever popular “Mchale##Q##s Navy Series”. His list of famous pictures is endless, and his talent will be talked about forever.
Ernie has remained active up to this year doing short stories for Hallmark, and specials to the delight of his devoted fans. The younger generation knows him on the popular children##Q##s show Spongebob Square Pants as the voice of “Mermaid Man”. We love this special man who will always be known as a gift to Hollywood.
