Over a month after hearing about the untimely demise of his ex-wife Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown was taken into police custody for the suspicion of driving under the influence.
Brown was pulled over by California Highway Patrol in Reseda, Calif., on Monday afternoon for supposedly driving while talking on a non hands-free cell phone device, TMZ reports.
When speaking to authorities, they suspected that the 43-year-old singer was under the influence of alcohol. According to Gossip Cop, he blew a 0.12 on a sobriety test, which is over the legal limit, and police then proceeded to transport him to Van Nuys jail.
Brown was previously booked for a DUI case in Georgia in 1996, in which he pleaded guilty and spent eight days in jail for.
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson stated that Brown bailed out after spending only two hours in jail.
