Boy bands have made a comeback in America! There are British hotties One Direction and The Wanted. Then there’s American boy band Big Time Rush. The pop band consists of Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson, Carlos Pen, Jr. and James Maslow.
Big Time Rush was formed in 2009 as an extension of the Nickelodeon TV show of the same name. The boys of Big Time Rush think their fans have trouble distinguishing between their characters and their real selves. “People don’t see us—not every person—but they don’t see us as real people. We’re these characters that come to their living room every single night at 8 o’clock. Then they see us in real life and they’re like, ‘wait a minute,’” says Logan. Hmmm…sounds familiar doesn’t it? It sounds like Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus!
Logan says they have two separate audiences: the young kids who know the band as characters from the show, and the older crowd who knows the band for their music. Either way, no matter the age of the audience, Big Time Rush sure know how to elicit screams from their fans!
