Beyonce is back for business! Just in case you spent your Memorial Day Weekend offline by the pool, we’re recapping Beyonce’s first post-baby performance at Revel Resort in Atlantic City.
Proving that baby does the body good, Beyonce took the stage in a glimmering silver dress and hot pink shoes. The 30-year-old mama opened the night with “End of Time” and followed the song up with “Crazy In Love”, “Get Me Bodied”, and “Party”.
During the slower jams, Beyonce brought out the emotions and held back tears for a soulful rendition of “Resentment” and belted “1+1” on top of a piano.
This is the multi-platinum singer’s first performance since giving birth in January to Blue Ivy Carter.
“Y’all don’t know how hard I had to work,” Beyonce addressed the crowd. “I had to lose 60 lbs. They had me on the treadmill, eating lettuce.”
Beyonce ended the night by paying tributes to the late Whitney Houston and Donna Summer.
There were 5,500 fans at the sold-out concert in Saturday, including first lady Michelle Obama and her daughters Sasha and Malia.
