Let just call 2012 the year of Beyonce. Not only is she making the ultimate career comeback with a rocking post-baby body and People##Q##s Most Beautiful Woman of the Year title, she##Q##s also signed on to do voice-over animation for Blue Sky Studio##Q##s “Epic.”
According to The Wrap, “Epic” is an upcoming 3D action-adventures comedy by 20th Century Fox that focuses on a teenage girl dropped in the middle of a wooded battle. Her character will navigate the forest and fight the whimsical characters.
“Epic” is slated to be directed by Chris Wedge, the mastermind of “Ice Age”. Queen B will be lending her voice along with Pitbull, Steven Tyler, Johnny Knoxville, Colin Farrell, Amanda Seyfried, Aziz Ansari, and, of course, “Hunger Games” cutie Josh Hutcherson.
The 31-year-old diva isn##Q##t just voicing any character. She##Q##ll be lending her voice to a character she knows best in real life – a queen: Queen Tara.
This will be Beyonce##Q##s first confirmed role since she took time off for maternity leave. She##Q##s also scheduled to star in Clint Eastwood##Q##s direct remake of “A Star Is Born”.
“Epic” is scheduled to hit theaters on May 24, 2013!
