Funnyman Ashton Kutcher is toning it down a few notches for a more serious role to play Apple’s former CEO and co-founder Steve Jobs, who passed away this past October, in the upcoming indie biographical film Jobs.
There is no word on when the film will be released, but Variety reports that Kutcher and the crew will begin production in May, during a break from filming Two and a Half Men.
Looking at the pictures of a young Jobs and Kutcher, they do have an uncanny resemblance and Kutcher should be able to do him justice with his acting record.
Not to be confused with the big-budget biopic of Steve Jobs Sony is currently working on, Joshua Michael Stern will direct Jobs and Matt Whiteley will write the script.
