Completely collapsing is one way to get attention, but that was certainly not Amber Riley’s intentions when she found herself on the ground at Tuesday night’s red carpet event.
All of the stars from Glee were walking the carpet and talking to multiple media outlets before a screening of Glee held by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in Los Angeles. Riley apparently became quickly overwhelmed and passed out!
No need to fret; Riley took to Twitter soon after the incident to explain what exactly happened and let concerned fans know she was making a smooth recovery.
“Hey guys, I##Q##m okay,” she wrote. “I got a little dizzy from all the photog flashes! You##Q##d think I##Q##s be used to it by now, still a red carpet amateur I guess. Gonna get checked out but I feel fine. Thank you for all the concern and well wishes.”
Riley then added, “I##Q##d also like to thank the photographers for being so professional and not taking photos of me on the ground. I truly truly appreciate it. Could have been super embarrassing.”
The 26-year-old starlet, whose character Mercedes Jones recently nailed a cover of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” on Glee, has recently slimmed up and is looking more beautiful than ever!
Feel better soon, Amber!
